{"id":5935,"date":"2026-08-23T16:38:06","date_gmt":"2026-08-23T16:38:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5935"},"modified":"2026-08-23T16:38:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-23T16:38:06","slug":"trump-goon-gets-schooled-after-wild-claim-about-u-s-neighbor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5935","title":{"rendered":"Trump Goon Gets Schooled After Wild Claim About U.S. Neighbor"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>The transportation secretary does not believe that Canada has a military. <\/p>\n<p>Sean Duffy, the reality-TV persona turned Trump cabinet member, raged against Canada, a strategic U.S. ally, and seemed to imply that the country should be scared of widespread devastation if it does not cave to President Donald Trump\u2019s trade demands.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5933\">Gothic Castle Mark Zuckerberg Just Bought Has a Gruesome Past<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a country that doesn\u2019t have a military,\u201d Duffy claimed on <i>Fox News Sunday<\/i>, adding more bizarrely, \u201cthey have record-high euthanasia rates.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAnd so to think that they\u2019re gonna go to war with Donald Trump and actually win that war with the U.S., I think it\u2019s foolish on their part,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Canada does have a military, contrary to the secretary\u2019s unfounded assertion, known as the Canadian Armed Forces, with 70,000 regular force and around 30,000 reserve personnel.<\/p>\n<p>Duffy was quickly corrected online as many people pointed out that Canada does, in fact, have a military.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat non existent military that patrolled your skies on 9\/11 and were one of the 1st nations to join you in Afghanistan,\u201d one user said.<\/p>\n<p>Duffy also asserted that the U.S. \u201cprovides security\u201d for its northern neighbors, but that \u201cthey take advantage of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you\u2019re gonna see Mark Carney come to the table very very quickly, because it\u2019s gonna be devastating for his country,\u201d he added more ominously. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFunny how the country that has fought beside the U.S. in every major conflict for a century suddenly \u201cdoesn\u2019t have a military\u201d the moment tariffs get involved. But he said those negotiations have gone south due to unreasonable demands from the U.S., including \u201c threats on French language and culture and Canadian culture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carney said that Canada may need to rethink its relationship with the U.S. given Trump\u2019s repeated threats against it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve recognized from the start that America has changed,\u201d he said in an address to the country over the weekend. \u201cWe recognize that sometimes, its signature is written in pencil.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re at war when you\u2019re attacked, and we got attacked,\u201d Carney said.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has repeatedly threatened to take over Canada, repeatedly calling it the 51st state and insulting its leaders.
