On Thursday, the Daily Beast published the letters in full, revealing new details of just how obsessed Harp, 35, seems to be with her 80-year-old boss. <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Some words leap off the page, with Harp, the former right-wing cable host, going as far as to say she is \u201cunworthy\u201d of the president. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Indeed, the president\u2019s close security team appeared anxious about some of the correspondence, according to Haberman, who, along with colleague Jonathan Swan, wrote the best-selling book <i>Regime Change<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHarp has carved out this role of being incredibly devoted to the president. She had left these letters for him and in his personal spaces during the interregnum for four years. The Secret Service had gotten alarmed by some of them. That was not\u2014well, that was notable,\u201d she said on CNN\u2019s <i>The Source<\/i> on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>The veteran White House correspondent noted that the letters were sent in 2023, before Trump was re-elected. \u201cThat was a campaign. That was different. She is now in the government. She sits 10 feet away from the president. She is a stream of information to him. He does rely on her. And I don\u2019t expect that to change,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Harp is now the $150,000-a-year special assistant and executive assistant to the president. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5833\">Why I Decided to Publish Natalie Harp\u2019s Trump Letters: Author<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It is not just the Secret Service that is rattled by the weird letters, Haberman added. \u201cMost of her colleagues have been uneasy with her for some time,\u201d she said. \u201cShe is representative of how different this term is from term one, because this is the kind of aide who will just give him quick, unfiltered information, connect him to other people, is present there, and basically spends most of her waking hours trying to work for him and get him what he wants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the notes, Harp expresses a deep desire to step away from her routine work duties, such as serving as Trump\u2019s \u201cHuman Printer,\u201d and regain a more personal relationship with him. Expressing burnout and envy toward women whose main role seems to be to \u201ctalk with you and look pretty,\u201d she explicitly tells Trump, \u201cI want that job!!\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She also recounts fondly the days when he would call her to chat about \u201ceverything and nothing,\u201d lamenting that they now have to discuss work constantly.<\/p>\n<p>The letters also show Harp apologizing for minor missteps during the overseas trip, including causing confusion after being left in a van outside customs without her passport and walking on a golf course instead of riding in a cart. Admitting to forgetting to eat and sleep out of anxiety, she writes that her main fear is being lowered in Trump\u2019s opinion, stating her goal is never to bring him \u201canything but joy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harp refers to Trump as her \u201cGuardian and Protector in this life\u201d and references a promise he made to her following her father\u2019s suicide in 2020. Throughout the notes, she asks Trump to correct her when she fails, writing that he has the \u201cabsolute right to cuss me out\u201d because no one cares for her more.
