He is relying on information that\u2019s given to him in the form of printouts by Natalie Harp,\u201d Dougherty said. \u201cAnd she is giving him weird, crazy stuff from the internet. We know this because he then puts it on Truth Social\u2014or she posts it for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joanna Coles, the Daily Beast\u2019s chief content officer and host of <i>The Daily Beast Podcast<\/i>, noted that Trump appears to be glued to Harp &#8212; describing it akin to a father-daughter relationship &#8212; as multiple crises close in around him, foremost among them Republicans\u2019 increasingly bleak midterm outlook.<\/p>\n<p>She suggested the president is taking refuge in Harp\u2019s unwavering loyalty and devotion, which she expressed in a series of letters, including one that reportedly declared, \u201cYou are all that matters to me,\u201d and another signed, \u201cWith all my heart, Natalie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to hang out with Natalie if I were the president. She looks like she\u2019s a good news bearer,\u201d Coles quipped. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5747\">Trump, 80, Exposes Swollen Hand in New Photos<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dougherty pointed out that Trump has been hit with a string of departures from the White House, including his press secretary Karoline Leavitt, one of his most trusted aides, who quit after he reportedly called repeatedly while she was on maternity leave to ask when she was coming back. <\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Harp, meanwhile, is someone that the president\u2014whose wife, Melania, does not live at the White House\u2014can \u201creliably turn to to be there,\u201d Dougherty said. <\/p>\n<p>Trump told his team early in his second term that Harp \u201cwas the only one who loved him as much as his wife and his kids,\u201d according to<i> Regime Change<\/i>, the book by New York Times reporters Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn a medieval court, just being in the presence of the king was what mattered,\u201d Dougherty added. \u201cAnd we\u2019ve all observed that there is a lot in common between the medieval court and the world of Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When reached for comment, White House spokesman Davis Ingle sent the Daily Beast a recycled statement: \u201cThe Daily Beast is a mentally challenged, lightweight operation that constantly peddles baseless and deranged conspiracy theories about President Trump and his Administration \u2013 which is why no one should listen to them.
