{"id":5511,"date":"2026-08-16T18:14:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-16T18:14:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5511"},"modified":"2026-08-16T18:14:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-16T18:14:38","slug":"trump-biographer-reveals-why-he-took-human-binkie-on-secret-escape","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5511","title":{"rendered":"Trump Biographer Reveals Why He Took \u2018Human Binkie\u2019 on Secret Escape"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>President Donald Trump, 80, takes his blonde aide Natalie Harp with him everywhere because she\u2019s his \u201chuman binkie,\u201d according to New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5509\">New Trump AG\u2019s First Interview Goes Off the Rails<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Haberman, a Trump biographer, offered the striking description Sunday morning on <i>Connect with Jacob Soboroff <\/i>while discussing why Harp, 35, was among the select few aides who accompanied Trump during his mysterious departure from Turkey in July.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Trump snuck off Air Force One in a catering truck before flying out on a military plane with key administration officials, while leaving the press and other aides on board the presidential plane.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI can guess why Natalie Harp, Walt Nauta and Dan Scavino were with him,\u201d Haberman said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNatalie Harp, because she is sort of his Binkie, for lack of a better way of putting it\u2014his comfort blanket.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harp, 35, has been seen by the president\u2019s side constantly over the past few months, accompanying him on official business and to the golf course. There is even speculation that Harp could be the wild card in the race to replace departing White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt. <\/p>\n<p>Haberman suggested Trump may have handpicked some of the aides who provide him the most comfort for the cloak-and-dagger escape from Ankara.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5507\">MAGA Ladies Spill on Brutal Reality of Working for Trump<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWalt Nauta because he is something similar [to Harp], he also always carries that brown leather briefcase that became very familiar in term one,\u201d Haberman said.<\/p>\n<p>The briefcase, she said, carries Trump\u2019s must-haves: hairspray, Tic Tacs \u201cand all kinds of stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She said Dan Scavino was likely there because he\u2019s one of Trump\u2019s \u201cclosest aides, and has been with Trump for 30-some odd years first as a caddy on his Westchester golf course.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There may also have been a more practical reason for bringing Harp and Scavino along: both have access to Trump\u2019s social media accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>Haberman\u2019s reporting on Trump and his administration has drawn the president\u2019s ire numerous times in the past.
