{"id":5452,"date":"2026-08-15T16:39:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-15T16:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5452"},"modified":"2026-08-15T16:39:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-15T16:39:38","slug":"nbc-sports-host-faints-live-on-air-in-terrifying-moment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5452","title":{"rendered":"NBC Sports Host Faints Live on Air in Terrifying Moment"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>A sports pundit fainted on air Friday in a scary scene.<\/p>\n<p>NBC Sports analyst Michael Holley abruptly lost consciousness during an episode of <i>Pro Football Talk Live<\/i> as his co-host Mike Florio spoke to him.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5450\">Trump to Splurge Billions on Deranged 1940s Obsession<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>In the clip, which NBC chose not to re-air on streaming platforms, Holley began wobbling in his chair and eventually fell out of the camera\u2019s view entirely\u2014prompting the show to cut to a screen featuring only Florio. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p>PFT Live host Michael Holley got overheated and fainted in the studio in his home.  pic.twitter.com\/afMnJ32lXQ<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Hater Report (@HaterReport) August 14, 2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cDid he just pass out?\u201d Florio asked.<\/p>\n<p>Adding to the scare, Holley was broadcasting from home, so no producers or colleagues were there to immediately check on him.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the incident, Florio, the creator and editor-in-chief of <i>PFT, <\/i>released a statement confirming that Holley fainted on air. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFriday\u2019s edition of <i>PFT Live<\/i> included a moment that was unprecedented in the 15-year history of the show,\u201d Florio, 61, said. \u201cCo-host Michael Holley fainted on live TV.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The sports commentator explained that Holley\u2019s health scare was due to overheating and not eating before the early broadcast, which airs at 7 a.m. EST.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs he became ill, I was looking at the camera, which sits above the monitor that returns the live feed of the show,\u201d Florio continued.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5448\">CBS News Star Accused of Sexual Harassment in Bombshell Lawsuit<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI noticed Michael moving,\u201d he continued. \u201cI thought that he had again lost his audio. When he slumped to the right and fell out of the view of the screen, I knew something was wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Florio said his team cut to a commercial break and immediately contacted his wife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lesson learned was a simple one,\u201d the statement reads. \u201cThe control room needs to have phone numbers for family members who can be immediately contacted if a co-host who is contributing from home has a sudden health issue.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Holley regained consciousness after a minute and was \u201cfine.\u201d He sustained no injuries except for a cut on his knee from impact, which required five stitches.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe appreciate the concern expressed by those who saw it happen, Florio concluded. \u201dMichael will be back for his next scheduled appearance.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Holley has been with <i>PFT <\/i>for two years.
