{"id":5296,"date":"2026-08-13T05:17:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-13T05:17:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5296"},"modified":"2026-08-13T05:17:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-13T05:17:38","slug":"top-doctor-demands-white-house-come-clean-on-trumps-health","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5296","title":{"rendered":"Top Doctor Demands White House Come Clean on Trump\u2019s Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>A top doctor has demanded the White House come clean and reveal the full details about President Donald Trump\u2019s health, claiming it is rapidly declining in plain sight.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5295\">Screaming Stephen Miller Melts Down in Bonkers 4-Minute TV Monologue<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jonathan Reiner, 66, appeared on <i>Erin Burnett OutFront<\/i> on Wednesday after a scathing opinion piece in the New York Times that also called out the silence around Trump\u2019s medical issues.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Reiner, who was previously Vice President Dick Cheney\u2019s cardiologist, told host Burnett that he was concerned that Trump, 80, is falling asleep in the Oval Office \u201cover and over again.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>He also cited Trump\u2019s other visible ailments not being properly addressed by the White House, including the \u201cmassive\u201d swelling in his legs, and \u201cobvious\u201d bruising on both hands which \u201cwill just not go away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president doesn\u2019t look well, and hasn\u2019t looked well for much of the last year,\u201d Reiner told the CNN host. \u201cHe has perhaps the most consequential job on the planet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reiner told CNN that Trump has \u201cmultiple very visible ailments\u201d which are well documented due to the fact he is \u201cmaybe the most-photographed person ever to hold the office of the president.\u201d<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Those afflictions include the \u201creally obvious bruises on both hands that will just not go away,\u201d which the White House has previously attempted to explain by saying they were due to frequent handshaking.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis left hand isn\u2019t bruising from vigorous handshaking,\u201d Reiner stated flatly.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Beast has doggedly tracked Trump\u2019s health, including the persistent bruising on his hands since it first appeared in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Reiner also pointed out the \u201creally very severe swelling\u201d in Trump\u2019s legs, and said such a condition could be caused by cardiac or kidney issues.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe president\u2019s swelling has been described as chronic venous insufficiency, which is very common,\u201d Reiner said. \u201cI hope he has that, because that\u2019s really a benign issue that you see in older people. Now he has&#8230; mess swelling up of his legs. That\u2019s a much bigger concern. But that has not been addressed by the White House.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reiner said he was most disturbed by Trump\u2019s repeated action of falling asleep in the Oval Office, and in public places.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5293\">Melania\u2019s Fluffer Pledges Rapid Comeback After Light Workload Exposed<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy is it acceptable in this country, in this perilous time, for the president of the United States, to have a really dramatic problem staying awake?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reiner cited Trump falling asleep in the Oval Office this week while Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was \u201cliterally screaming next to him, speaking very loudly next to him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stating that the most common cause of daytime somnolence is sleep apnea, Reiner questioned if Trump\u2019s medical team had identified that as a possible reason for his daytime dozing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just obvious that it\u2019s not being adequately treated, because if he is sitting at his desk and he is not speaking for five minutes, his eyes are closed,\u201d Reiner. He\u2019s not getting enough sleep. And he has to sleep.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reiner said when untreated, sleep apnea can lead to cardiac issues and can worsen cognitive disorders. \u201cWe need the president of the United States to function effectively,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cIt\u2019s distinctly not normal, but it\u2019s become normalized; `Oh, the president is just asleep.\u2019 It\u2019s not normal. And it really needs to be addressed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Beast has contacted the White House for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Daily Beast political reporter Sarah Ewall-Wice shared her boots-on-the-ground analysis of Trump\u2019s health struggles on The Daily Beast Podcast, saying more people than ever are concerned he is not fit to lead the free world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you watch him, you see that there are different aspects to how he carries himself, to how he looks, that have changed over time as he ages. And the White House refuses, in most cases, to address questions about this,\u201d Ewall-Wice said. <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>She added, \u201cSo it has become an ongoing mystery, and they have been completely shutting down\u2014or in some cases, combative about\u2014questions about his health.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Reached for comment, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle previously told the Daily Beast: \u201cIf it quacks like a duck, it may actually just be a Democrat hack doctor.
