{"id":5148,"date":"2026-08-09T16:11:31","date_gmt":"2026-08-09T16:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5148"},"modified":"2026-08-09T16:11:31","modified_gmt":"2026-08-09T16:11:31","slug":"gop-pollster-makes-damning-prediction-for-trumps-economy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5148","title":{"rendered":"GOP Pollster Makes Damning Prediction for Trump\u2019s Economy"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>Republican polling expert Kristen Soltis Anderson has shared a harsh message for Donald Trump ahead of the midterms.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5147\">Dem Star Trashes Trump\u2019s Marriage After Unprovoked Attack<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Appearing on <i>State of the Union<\/i> Sunday, Anderson was asked whether Trump\u2019s approval numbers contradicted his claim that voters were \u201cnot angry at me, but they are angry at Republicans.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>For Anderson, the data didn\u2019t track. \u201cThose numbers indicate quite a bit of anger,\u201d she said, before focusing on Trump\u2019s very low economy numbers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThirty percent approval on the economy is extraordinarily poor,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd it\u2019s very poor for Donald Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause even during his first term, there were a handful of voters who said, \u2018Look, I don\u2019t know if I like this guy. I don\u2019t like the tweets, but he\u2019s a business guy. He\u2019s good at the economy.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Anderson warned: \u201cAnd he has lost that as a brand attribute with any of those swing voters who may have come around and said, \u2018Look, I\u2019m not into Biden, I\u2019m not into Kamala Harris. Let me give Trump another chance because at least he\u2019ll fix this cost of living stuff.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The GOP strategy writer argued that by washing his hands of all responsibility for his own administration, Trump was alienating his voting base. <\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5145\">McConnell\u2019s Home Offers Telling Clue to Health Mystery<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s had two years. And if his message was, \u2018We get it, we haven\u2019t made enough progress, but let\u2019s keep the faith. We\u2019re going to keep trying to work,\u2019 I don\u2019t know that that would stave off really bad losses in the midterms, but it would be much better than this, like, \u2018La la la. Everything\u2019s fine. And if it\u2019s not fine, someone else did it.\u2019 That\u2019s a terrible message.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Contrary to Anderson\u2019s judgements, Trump seemed wholly convinced of his own sainthood on Friday, when he told Punchbowl news that no one was angry with him or his actions as president.<\/p>\n<p>Asked about the possibility of being impeached yet again if Democrats win the House, Trump confidently assured: \u201cWell, a lot of people are saying I\u2019m one of the greatest presidents ever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When the interviewer suggested this wasn\u2019t necessarily true, Trump doubled down: \u201cYeah, but they know\u2014they see the results.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately for Trump, the \u201cresults\u201d may not be as convincing as he thinks.<\/p>\n<p>A CNN poll conducted in late July showed his approval ratings at an all-around low, with 30 percent approval for the economy, and 28 percent for his dealings with Iran. <\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The cost of living crisis proved to be another bone of contention, with a 25 percent approval for his handling of inflation, and a dismal 21 percent for gas prices.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5144\">Accused Wife-Beating MAGA Rep Humiliated by Hometown Allies<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Republican polling expert Kristen Soltis Anderson has shared a harsh message for Donald Trump ahead of the midterms.
