Trump Revocable Trust, including tax returns, ownership and governance instruments, deeds, appraisals, financial statements, licensing records, and digital asset histories of hundreds of affiliated entities.<\/p>\n<p>, Trump\u2019s lawyers asked the court to hold Lett\u2019s order until its objections are resolved and because they want to update their damages allegations, which they argued would render the basis of Lett\u2019s ruling \u201cmoot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a compelling argument,\u201d Altman wrote. \u201cIf the Plaintiff\u2019s amendment obviates the need to compel a non-party to disclose confidential financial information, we think it\u2019s prudent to enter a brief stay of the Order until the amendment request is resolved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=5045\">Trump Blasts \u2018Treasonous\u2019 Bezos Paper Over Hegseth Leak<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trump sued the BBC last year, alleging that it defamed him by \u201cintentionally, maliciously, and deceptively\u201d editing two parts of his Jan. 6, 2021, speech to make it seem as though he had encouraged his supporters to storm the Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s lawsuit claimed that the editing damaged the value of his brand, properties, and businesses, yet his lawyers have repeatedly objected to subpoenas seeking information about the business interests and assets held in the Donald J. Trump Revocable Trust.<\/p>\n<p>Lett said last month that the BBC was entitled to demand more information about Trump\u2019s empire because the president alleged damages to his business.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll of President Trump\u2019s brand, properties, and businesses are impugned or said to have been impugned,\u201d she said in a hearing. \u201cReputational, economic damages\u2014all of that is now at issue in this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The BBC, meanwhile, argued that Trump \u201ccannot plausibly claim that the documentary harmed his reputation\u201d because he won the 2024 election soon after its program aired.
