Trump faced the most extreme allegations in the world that hit him day after day after day, and people in the media\u2014very much like yourself and others\u2014said that he would have no shot at winning, that he should not be the President of the United States,\u201d Miller told CNN\u2019s Jake Tapper in a nearly 30-minute interview. \u201cBut guess what: he stayed in, and he was resilient.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Miller continued, \u201cAnd so for no second am I going to sit here and continue to be debased by false and baseless allegations, and be pushed out of a seat I have worked so hard to represent,\u201d he added. \u201cI\u2019ve been a good legislator. All they\u2019re trying to do is create rumor mills without evidence; that\u2019s all hearsay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tapper pointed out that first-hand accusations are not \u201chearsay.\u201d He then went on to grill Miller over accusations made by his ex-wife, the Republican operative Emily Moreno, as well as her father, Republican Sen. Bernie Moreno.<\/p>\n<p>Miller, 37, and Moreno, 32, have been locked in a brutal custody battle over their 2-year-old daughter after separating in 2024 and divorcing last year. Moreno claims that Miller pointed a gun at her head, poured hot water on her, threw her against a wall, beat her, and potentially fractured their daughter\u2019s collarbone. The congressman has vehemently and repeatedly denied the accusations.<\/p>\n<p>Miller has faced immense pressure to drop out of the race for Ohio\u2019s 7th congressional district. However, he has been adamant that he is staying in the race, telling Tapper that he looks to Trump as a role model.<\/p>\n<p>Miller, who spoke to Tapper from Los Angeles, also claimed that he spoke with Trump on the phone on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=4926\">Bone Spurs President Uses AI to Award Himself Ultimate Medal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe said, \u2018Maxie, it\u2019s going to be a tough race,\u2019\u201d the congressman claimed. \u201cHe said, \u2018I don\u2019t know if you\u2019re going to be able to, you know, pull this one out.\u2019 And you know what, Jake? I reminded him of the same resilience that he had when people told him that he was going to struggle in 2016, and he became the 45th President of the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Beast has reached out to Miller for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Miller appeared rattled by the CNN host\u2019s line of questioning throughout the testy interview.<\/p>\n<p>Tapper brought up how Miller\u2019s daughter allegedly told his ex-wife that \u201cDaddy\u2019s house is scary\u201d and \u201cDaddy kill you.\u201d The congressman called that \u201ca fabrication of the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJake, I wish you could talk to my beautiful baby girl,\u201d Miller replied. \u201cShe can\u2019t string together sentences like that. She\u2019s 2-and-a-half-years-old. She doesn\u2019t have the ability to articulate any of what you just said.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Tapper noted that Miller had just told him how his daughter said she was \u201cscared to go to Mommy\u2019s house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CNN host also emphasized that it is not the first time Miller has faced allegations of physical abuse. Miller\u2019s ex-girlfriend, former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, as well as another unnamed woman who went to high school with him, have both accused the congressman of physically harming them.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Asked whether all three of the women, who don\u2019t know each other, are lying, Miller answered that they were.
