Now, those familiar with the administration\u2019s alleged plans are frantically warning of what will come next.<\/p>\n<p>The site, founded by prominent never-Trump Republicans, writes that the \u201ccoming rule will change the technical meaning of who \u2018resides\u2019 in the United States to exclude some or most immigrants from being counted as living in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It added, \u201cThat is, people who are foreign nationals would be categorized not only as <i>citizens<\/i> of their home countries but also <i>residents<\/i> of their home countries\u2014and therefore (poof!) no longer part of the U.S. population.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The White House did not respond to a request for comment on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>While sources have detailed the administration\u2019s alleged plans to The Bulwark, the text of the rule change remains under wraps. The only public nod to the plan is its title, which was published on an Office of Management and Budget website: \u201cDecennial Census of the Population of Americans; Proposed Residence Criteriaand Proposed Regulations for Demographic Questions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=4174\">Measles Cases Hit Ominous New High<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Constitution mandates that the Census include all persons in the United States. The founding fathers were so emphatic on the matter that they used the word \u201cpersons\u201d in its clause about the Census\u2014despite using the words \u201ccitizen\u201d or \u201ccitizens\u201d 11 times elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, 80, has tried to alter the Census process since his first term in office.
