On Dilley\u2019s podcast on Friday, the two social media influencers recapped their experience\u2014including what Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told them moments before Trump began speaking.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cShe says to us\u2014this was significant\u2014she says, \u2018You\u2019re not here to cheer him on. You\u2019re not here to agree verbally,\u2019\u201d Dilley recalled Leavitt, 28, telling them. \u201c\u2018You\u2019re here to give him your good energy. If he happens to look in your direction, just smile. But please, give him your energy. Give him good energy. He\u2019s here to draw on your energy for this speech, because it\u2019s a big speech.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>On Wednesday, Dilley and Beatty met with a beaming Trump in the Oval Office.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018[They] tell me you\u2019re the most powerful men in politics,\u2019\u201d Dilley said Trump, 80, told the pair, who combine for a modest social media following.<\/p>\n<p>The president later asked them to attend his speech the next night, Dilley said.<\/p>\n<p>After Leavitt\u2019s comments, Dilley said he knew the president really liked their presence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s when Mike and I realized why we were there: because we have good energy, and anytime we\u2019re around him, he lights up. And that\u2019s when we put together, like, \u2018Oh my God, like, he wanted us here because he picked people from his administration, Cabinet, that he likes their energy around him, and it gives him a good vibe, right?\u2019\u201c he said. \u201dI think that\u2019s why we were there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The two were apparently the only men in the East Room wearing light-colored suits, perhaps to make themselves more visible to Trump should he need the emotional support during his at-times angry speech.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3719\">Even Trump\u2019s Ex-Spokesman Can\u2019t Spin His Disastrous Speech<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Dilley, a 2020 election denier, said that after Trump\u2019s speech, the president interacted with those in the room for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s thanking people in the room, and he\u2019s smiling at us, and he\u2019s giving the head nod to the Dilley Meme Team in the back,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dilley seemed amazed by hearing Trump talk about various topics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was telling stories about the United States,\u201d he said. \u201cTalked about the Panama Canal, and he\u2019s talking about business&#8230; That was the s&#8211;t where you, like, go, \u2018This is the coolest s&#8211;t in the history of the world for me.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily Beast.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Dilley and Beatty\u2019s encounter with Trump mirrored how the president met with election deniers at the White House on Monday, ahead of his election speech.
