{"id":3536,"date":"2026-07-15T08:39:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T08:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3536"},"modified":"2026-07-15T08:39:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T08:39:17","slug":"maga-demands-coney-barrett-quit-after-revealing-security-fears","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3536","title":{"rendered":"MAGA Demands Coney Barrett Quit After Revealing Security Fears"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>A number of MAGA and Republican figures have called on Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett to step down after she revealed how her position has resulted in threats against her and her family.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3534\">This Is The Dark Reason Trump Terrified Graham<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Barrett, one of three conservative justices nominated to the bench by Donald Trump, made a rare appearance on Capitol Hill on Tuesday alongside Justice Elena Kagan to request millions in additional funding to enhance security.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>During her testimony, Barrett described how her home was targeted with a hoax swatting call and said that she and other justices had been sent packages \u201cdesigned to intimidate and harass us.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Barrett also revealed that she was given a bulletproof vest in the wake of the Supreme Court\u2019s overturning of <i>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/i> in June 2022, which her 12-year-old son saw her bring home. \u201cI didn\u2019t expect that performing this service was going to put me in the position of explaining to my children what a bulletproof vest was and why I had to wear one,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>A number of Trump supporters\u2014who are already fuming with Barrett after she ruled against the president in a number of cases\u2014are now demanding that she quit, claiming her future decisions will be influenced by a desire to keep herself safe or that she is simply not fit for such a high-profile position.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMillions of police officers and military members explain body armor to their kids every day. If you can\u2019t explain to a 12 yr old boy, you have no business making national decisions,\u201d former FBI agent-turned-MAGA podcaster Kyle Seraphin posted on X while sharing a clip of Barrett\u2019s testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Breanna Morello, a former reporter for InfoWars when it was still owned by conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, wrote: \u201cJustice Amy Coney Barrett is discussing all the threats she\u2019s facing. It\u2019s sad and shouldn\u2019t happen, but this shouldn\u2019t be an excuse to cave.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer rulings have been out of character. If these threats are an issue for her family, she should step down now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In reply, pro-Trump pollster Rich Baris said: \u201cBreanna, 100% correct. Amy Coney Barrett should step down after this testimony. She just admitted she\u2019s shook and it clearly impacts her decisions. That\u2019s FEAR on her face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3532\">Dem Issues Sharp Warning to Goon Before Trump Speech<\/a><\/p>\n<p>MAGA podcaster Tim Pool also suggested on his show that incidents like the hoax swatting call at Barrett\u2019s home are affecting her \u201cability to do her job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe may have a bulletproof vest, but her son doesn\u2019t. So let me just stress this. Do you think that affects her ability to do her job? I do, and I\u2019m not saying it to be a d&#8212; or to be mean. I empathize,\u201d Pool said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I got to tell you, when your kid opens the door to a bunch of cops, and that could have been the end of your child, you\u2019re gonna think twice when you\u2019re issuing your opinions. You\u2019re gonna be thinking not about what is just and right for this country, but about what they\u2019re going to do to your kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During her testimony, Barrett cited the case of New Jersey U.S. District Judge Esther Salas, whose 20-year-old son was killed and whose husband was severely injured after a gunman posing as a FedEx driver targeted her home in a shooting in July 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFederal judges across the country, throughout the judiciary, including the Supreme Court, continue to do their jobs without fear or favor, but the threat level is really high,\u201d Barrett said.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Kagan also lashed out at Trump\u2019s frequent attacks on the Supreme Court and federal judges who rule against him, accusing the president of \u201cdangerous\u201d rhetoric.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cWhatever political figure says them, whatever party that political figure is a member of, these statements are really unhelpful,\u201d she said. \u201cThey\u2019re dangerous in terms of individual justices\u2019 security, and they\u2019re not appropriate in the way to treat a coordinate branch of government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3530\">Dem Spills What MAGA Senators Really Say About Trump<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A number of MAGA and Republican figures have called on Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett to step down after she revealed how her position has resulted in threats against her and her family.
