I went to the Republicans, who I follow on X, and trust me, I follow thousands of them. They were all ripping it, too,\u201d she continued. \u201cNo one was impressed. It may sound mean, but it\u2019s true. No one was impressed. Everyone thought this was kind of a joke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelly said she believed many artists pulled out over \u201cfear of backlash for getting too political or being in favor of Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exodus comes as artists, like Martia McBride, claim that they were duped into believing their concerts would be nonpartisan but were appalled upon learning it had been MAGA-ified. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think they saw the universal reaction to this lineup as, I\u2019m sorry, pathetic,\u201d Kelly said. It was a very negative reaction across the board, and they said, \u2018Oh my god, I can\u2019t be a part of that.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cEveryone\u2019s looking at each other thinking you\u2019re the one they\u2019re talking about when they say it\u2019s pathetic, you\u2019re the one they\u2019re talking about when they say it\u2019s lame, not me, and I can\u2019t be associated with you losers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=331\">Why I Know Trump\u2019s Favorite Dem Is \u2018Unfit\u2019 for Office<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Performers began dissociating from the event shortly after the lineup was announced. <\/p>\n<p>Those artists include McBride, Bret Michaels, Morris Day, Milli Vanilli, The Commodores, and Young MC. Just three artists, C+C Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, and Flo Rida, are still listed as performers. <\/p>\n<p>Williams said his agent had never mentioned Trump when booking the show. He noted he was getting messages along the lines of, \u201cWe\u2019re gonna cancel C+C Music Factory, this is going to be a terrible show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI don\u2019t f&#8212; with Trump. I don\u2019t give a f&#8212; about Trump\u2026 I know the type of f&#8212;ing anarchy he creates.
