He did not look good. He was not conscious. His eyes were closed, he had oxygen [tubes] strapped to his nose,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew by [his aides] running in and out that it was something serious,\u201d she went on. \u201cThere weren\u2019t a lot of sirens. That was the thing that was interesting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The woman said she witnessed two police officers carrying medical packs rush into McConnell\u2019s home, adding that a police vehicle is \u201cpretty well always\u201d parked down the street when the senator is in town.<\/p>\n<p>Other neighbors told The Mail they were stunned that McConnell has insisted on remaining in office.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=3320\">ICE Barbie\u2019s Alleged Lover Hit With Fresh Headache in Contract Scandal<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGod bless them,\u201d one neighbor who watched the stretcher go by said of McConnell and his team. \u201cI would have retired. But for them, this is their life. They don\u2019t know anything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McConnell may have suffered a heart attack, according to an emergency personnel call first obtained by independent journalist Desir\u00e9e Townsend. The June 14 call detailed an emergency dispatch to McConnell\u2019s residence, where first responders were told of \u201cCPR in progress\u201d due to \u201ccardiac arrest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But there have been few updates on his health since then, prompting growing concern\u2014and impatience\u2014from the public and his colleagues alike.<\/p>\n<p>On July 2, McConnell\u2019s team said in a statement that \u201cSenator McConnell appreciates the outpouring of support he\u2019s receiving while he continues his recovery in the hospital. The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>McConnell\u2019s team continues to be tight-lipped about his health, drawing accusations of a \u201ccover-up\u201d from within MAGAworld. The senator\u2019s staff is led by his longtime, camera-shy aide Terry Carmack, who is on track to earn more than $226,000 this year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s just a cover-up on top of a cover-up. And that\u2019s why nobody trusts what\u2019s going on in Washington. This whole thing is a farce,\u201d Tennessee Rep. Tim Burchett said on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>South Carolina firebrand Nancy Mace, meanwhile, has called on McConnell to step down.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cIf McConnell is in as bad a shape as Biden ever was \u2014 or worse \u2014 he needs to step aside.
