{"id":2757,"date":"2026-07-03T08:12:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T08:12:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=2757"},"modified":"2026-07-03T08:12:35","modified_gmt":"2026-07-03T08:12:35","slug":"melania-is-unleashing-revenge-dogs-on-me-biographer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=2757","title":{"rendered":"Melania Is Unleashing Revenge Dogs on Me: Biographer"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>Michael Wolff says Melania Trump is launching a new retaliatory legal move against him over his comments about her and Jeffrey Epstein\u2014even though a federal judge has already reprimanded the first lady over the tactic.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=2755\">Kaitlan Collins Savages Trump\u2019s Flop Fair After Seeing It for Herself<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A Trump-appointed federal judge threw out Wolff\u2019s lawsuit against Melania in May, but the first lady is now asking the court to sanction the longtime Donald Trump biographer over \u201cfactual misrepresentations, frivolous legal arguments and bad-faith conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Wolff, 72, had sued Melania, 56, in a so-called anti-SLAPP suit designed to protect freedom of the press, after she threatened to sue him for $1 billion over his remarks about the Trump family\u2019s ties to Epstein, including a claim that Melania may have met Trump through the pedophile\u2019s social circle.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cEssentially, they are moving to sanction my lawyers for doing nothing more than bringing the lawsuit against Melania Trump,\u201d Wolff said on the <i>Inside Trump\u2019s Head <\/i>podcast. \u201cSo this is preposterous on its face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued that the move is \u201canother&#8230; kind of thing that comes with all of Trump-style&#8230; litigation, which is you do everything, no matter how&#8230; sordid and not respectable&#8230; and bound to be thrown out of court, you do this stuff to cost your opponents more money and to cause delay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Melania\u2019s effort to sanction Wolff has stumbled out of the gate: The same judge who threw out the author\u2019s lawsuit rebuked the first lady\u2019s revenge move on Wednesday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wonder if it\u2019s in the interest of the parties to continue litigating in this court,\u201d District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil told Melania\u2019s lawyers, according to Courthouse News Service. <\/p>\n<p>Vyskocil, a longtime Federalist Society member appointed in New York\u2019s Southern District by Trump in his first term, said the motion for a Section 11 sanction faces a high bar, adding that Melania must demonstrate \u201cclear evidence\u201d that Wolff\u2019s lawsuit was brought baselessly and in bad faith.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think sometimes people get so caught up in the fervor of the moment that they don\u2019t really stop and think about the cost-benefit analysis of motions that are contemplated and the burden you put a court to,\u201d she was quoted saying.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=2753\">GOP Rep Quietly Scrubs Key Promise From Campaign Site<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Melania\u2019s lawyers, who said they are seeking sanctions \u201csufficient to deter repetition and to compensate Mrs. Trump for the costs imposed by their misconduct,\u201d indicated that they plan to move forward with the motion.<\/p>\n<p>Wolff told co-host Joanna Coles that he had known since January that Melania\u2019s lawyers would file a motion to sanction him due to a Signalgate-like mistake by the president\u2019s personal lawyer. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn January 26th of this year, I got a text&#8230; from the president\u2019s personal lawyer, a man by the name of Boris Epshteyn, and the text said, \u2018Hey team, what\u2019s our timing on the Section 11 filing?\u2019\u201d Wolff said. <\/p>\n<p>Coles quipped, \u201cAnd I\u2019m assuming that you weren\u2019t part of the team.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was not part of the team,\u201d the author said. \u201cI am in Boris Epshteyn\u2019s address book because he\u2019s&#8230; a frequent off-the-record chatterer&#8230; and as can happen, he was thinking about me and writing a text about me, but it wasn\u2019t supposed to go to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He added that \u201cthe more important thing\u201d is that Epshteyn\u2019s mistake revealed that his lawsuit against Melania \u201cwas being coordinated at the highest levels of Trump law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Representatives for Melania and the White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment. <\/p>\n<div>\n<p><i><b>Find and subscribe to Inside Trump\u2019s Head with Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles on <\/b><\/i><i><b>YouTube<\/b><\/i><i><b> and <\/b><\/i><i><b>wherever you get your podcasts<\/b><\/i><i><b>.
