She  $150,000 a year working in Trump\u2019s White House.<\/p>\n<p>She is also one of the few aides to have championed Trump\u2019s tacky gold-plated Oval Office makeover.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs the year progressed, he kept jamming more gold pieces onto the mantel,\u201d Haberman and Swan wrote. \u201cWhen Trump asked White House residence staff what they thought of the glittering display, most responses were muted, but his devout aide Natalie Harp would gush with delight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The White House did not immediately respond to the Daily Beast\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>Her estranged brother Preston Harp, 38, has blasted the president and his too-close-for-comfort bond with Natalie.<\/p>\n<p>Preston called Trump a \u201cnational embarrassment\u201d and said his sister\u2019s relationship with him is \u201cvery unhealthy.\u201d<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s just like his fan club,\u201d Preston said in an interview with The Daily Mail, adding, \u201cAnd so it just kind of caused some cognitive dissonance.
