But as they were doing that, the \u201cAmerican flag blue\u201d paint started flaking off the bottom and floating to the surface of the pool. <\/p>\n<p>Trump has tried to blame the shoddy renovation on anonymous vandals, claiming they committed very serious crimes and will spend \u201cyears in jail!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=2136\">MAGA Billionaire L.A. Times Boss Is Struggling to Pay the Bills<\/a><\/p>\n<p>He has claimed that vandals used a \u201cknife or blade\u201d to tear a \u201cgash\u201d into the pool\u2019s sealant, but his description of the gash has gone from 250 feet to 300 feet to 350 feet as he raged on Truth Social. <\/p>\n<p>Neither the president nor the White House has provided any evidence for these claims.<\/p>\n<p>In May, however, Trump proclaimed that the renovated Reflecting Pool would be impossible to cut.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis will last for at least 50 years,\u201d Trump said on May 4. \u201cYou\u2019ll never have a leak. It\u2019s very strong. You couldn\u2019t, if you had a knife\u2014I don\u2019t want to give anybody ideas\u2014if you had a knife, you can\u2019t even cut it. So strong, so powerful, it\u2019s like powerful rubber. It is beautiful. Sealed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Still, the president has gone forth with his sabotage fantasy. On Sunday, he claimed that he had \u201cinspected\u201d the pool, and said it would need to be drained once again to fix the damage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWork will begin immediately on fixing the seriously vandalized Reflecting Pool. I just inspected it, and could only say to myself, and those gathered around me, WOW, who would do such a thing?\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cSICK, DERANGED PEOPLE!
