{"id":1978,"date":"2026-06-22T13:14:15","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T13:14:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1978"},"modified":"2026-06-22T13:14:15","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T13:14:15","slug":"vance-admits-iran-talks-are-a-string-of-clown-show-errors","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1978","title":{"rendered":"Vance Admits Iran Talks Are a String of Clown Show Errors"},"content":{"rendered":"<article>\n<p>JD Vance has given a candid assessment of how peace talks with Iran are going by listing a string of examples of where they have gone wrong.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1976\">Trump Gets Ominous Midterm Warning With Turnout Bombshell<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Switzerland on the second day of U.S.-Iran talks, the vice president did not exude confidence about a proposed deal to end Donald Trump\u2019s deeply unpopular Middle East conflict within an apparent 60-day timeframe.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>During a press conference at the luxury B\u00fcrgenstock Resort overlooking Lake Lucerne, Vance was forced to insist that Trump\u2019s threats over the weekend\u2014in which the 80-year-old president suggested he would \u201cblow the s&#8211;t out\u201d of Iran if it closed the Strait of Hormuz and would \u201chit Iran very hard again, just like we did last week, only harder\u201d\u2014did not \u201cthrow a wrench\u201d into the peace talks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Vance also admitted that his team\u2019s calls to nuclear inspectors had gone unanswered, and that members of the Iranian delegation threatened to leave the talks early before ultimately departing Switzerland for Tehran on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe thing with the Iranians, yes, they did threaten to walk out, or at least there were social media threats that they would walk out,\u201d Vance said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut we were negotiating well past one in the morning, so they didn\u2019t walk out, and their technical team is still here in B\u00fcrgenstock working with our technical team as we speak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vance, 41, also suggested that if Iranians engage in \u201cwhat us millennials might call \u2018trash talk,\u2019\u201d they cannot expect the erratic 80-year-old president to remain silent.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen they make threats that aren\u2019t rooted in reality, they have to accept that the president of the United States is actually going to set the record straight. That\u2019s all that happens,\u201d Vance added.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1974\">Trump Goons Try Soviet-Style Round-Up at Slime Crisis Site<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo yes, there was a little bit of threatening, there was a little bit of whining, but at the end of the day, the talks continued, and we made great progress.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The vice president then made the stark admission that the U.S. delegation\u2014which includes Trump\u2019s go-to envoy Steve Witkoff and the president\u2019s son-in-law, Jared Kushner\u2014made an unsuccessful attempt to contact nuclear inspectors during the crunch talks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s funny, we were trying to call some of the inspectors last night around 2:00 in the morning,\u201d Vance said. \u201cAs you can expect, not many people are answering their phone at 2:00 in the morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vance also revealed that the inspectors had not returned the call by the time he gave his press conference just after 1 p.m. local time.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Elsewhere, Vance also defended one of the many terrible deals outlined in Trump\u2019s memorandum of understanding to end the Iran deal, which even Republicans have trashed. <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to reporters in Switzerland, Vance suggested that the plan to make \u201cfrozen or restricted funds and assets\u201d available to Tehran in return for next-to-zero concessions from the U.S. was a \u201cclassic\u201d Trump deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Iranian assets are ever unfrozen, they\u2019re going to make American farmers richer and feed the Iranian people,\u201d Vance said. \u201cThat\u2019s a very, very good and very classic Trump deal that\u2019s great for our people, great for the people of Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1973\">Trump Administration Scrambles After Vance\u2019s Embarrassing Snub Video<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Daily Beast has contacted the White House for comment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JD Vance has given a candid assessment of how peace talks with Iran are going by listing a string of examples of where they have gone wrong.
