Out-of-work lawmakers Thomas Massie and Marjorie Taylor Greene are trolling Donald Trump from sunny Costa Rica. <\/p>\n

The pair are two of the president\u2019s biggest detractors inside the GOP, and both have attracted his considerable ire. <\/p>\n

\n

In retaliation for Massie\u2018s mischief, Trump endorsed former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein for Kentucky\u2019s 4th Congressional District in May, removing Massie after seven terms. Massie joined Greene in a growing club of ousted America Firsters. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As it stands, the club\u2019s headquarters is a fishing boat off the coast of Costa Rica, where the pair are enjoying some rest and relaxation after their bruising exits from Washington, D.C. Massie will have to return to serve until early 2027. <\/p>\n

\u201cAmerica First Pacific Summit Retreat,\u201d Massie said on X, along with a video of him, in a white shirt and trunks, reeling in a large sword-nosed fish. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe first summit is underway, more to come,\u201d Greene said, resharing the post with an emoji wearing sunglasses. <\/p>\n

The pair took the trip with their partners, Massie\u2019s wife, Carolyn Grace Moffa, and Greene\u2019s fianc\u00e9, Brian Glenn, who TMZ reported collected Massie from the airport. <\/p>\n

Greene has a home in Costa Rica, and she and Glenn had traveled out to take a two-week break for her birthday, Glenn said, according to The New York Times. <\/p>\n

While there, Greene invited Massie to take a last-minute flight to join them, which he did on Tuesday, just six days after Trump removed him. <\/p>\n

Massie and Greene are reported by the Times to be old friends, and the parallels between their times in Congress under Trump may well have brought them closer. <\/p>\n

Glenn shared a picture of the four of them on Tuesday, saying, \u201cSo I was just walking along the beach\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

The following day, Glenn shared a picture of Greene near a beach with the caption, \u201c52 looks GOOOOD on you. Happy Birthday Marjorie! I love you,\u201d followed by a love heart emoji. <\/p>\n

According to the Times, Glenn said, \u201cWe had a good time out on the water,\u201d to celebrate Greene\u2019s birthday. <\/p>\n

He added they had also had some \u201cspicy\u201d conversations about politics. <\/p>\n

Massie lost to Gallrein in an astonishingly expensive primary battle, and Glenn felt that Massie needed a \u201cbreak,\u201d adding, \u201cWe\u2019re happy to provide a break.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both he and Greene fell foul of Trump over the war with Iran and his drawn-out release of the Epstein files.<\/p>\n

Despite his defeat, Massie has maintained a positive public outlook, telling The Cincinnati Enquirer that his opposition had \u201cbought a congressional seat.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also suggested he had no problem with running again. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd so I do think it was a victory, even though we lost,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

For her part, Greene left Congress in January, saying she didn\u2019t want to face off against a Trump-backed opponent. <\/p>\n

\u201cI refuse to be a \u2018battered wife\u2019 hoping it all goes away and gets better,\u201d Greene said in November. \u201cIf I am cast aside by MAGA Inc. and replaced by Neocons, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Military Industrial War Complex, foreign leaders and the elite donor class that can\u2019t even relate to real Americans, then many common Americans have been cast aside as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

After Massie\u2019s defeat, Greene carried on the same message. \u201cI am proud and thankful to have served in the U.S. House of Representatives with my friend Thomas Massie, a giant among weak pathetic men,\u201d she said on X in May. <\/p>\n

She also fired off an extra shot at the White House, saying, \u201creleasing the Epstein files was our demise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glenn, too, now finds himself out of work. He was White House correspondent for the right-wing news organization Real America\u2019s Voice, and gained public recognition after joining the hard-to-watch pile-on on Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky early in Trump\u2019s second term, chastizing him for not wearing a suit. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhy don\u2019t you wear a suit?\u201d Glenn asked. \u201cYou\u2019re at the highest level in this country\u2019s office, and you refuse to wear a suit.<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you own a suit?\u201d he probed. \u201cA lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the dignity of this office.\u201d<\/p>\n

Zelensky didn\u2019t hold back, saying he would wear a \u201ccostume\u201d when the war finished, adding, \u201cMaybe something like yours, yes. Maybe something better, I don\u2019t know,\u201d to laughter in the room. \u201cMaybe something cheaper.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April, Glenn was repaid by Trump for his loyalty, receiving a compliment from the president in the Oval Office. His fianc\u00e9e was not given the same grace. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou know, you act so good. I love this guy,\u201d Trump said, according to Mediaite. \u201cHe\u2019s a great guy, even though I don\u2019t love his girlfriend too much.\u201d<\/p>\n

A few days later, he was out saying he planned to focus on friends and family and that he and Greene would get married. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis has been really the only life I\u2019ve known, you know, chasing the news, being in front of the camera, a lot of times behind the camera, and especially in the last seven, eight years, following President Trump, being kind of the MAGA mouthpiece, if you will, for the Trump America First agenda,\u201d he told conservative podcaster Eric Bolling.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cAnd of course, Marjorie and I, planning a wedding, likely before the end of the year. That\u2019s a little bit of breaking news\u2026 as well. Focus on that, but really focus on each other. And I think that this campaign can be grueling,\u201d he said. \u201cIt can really kind of drain the life out of a lot of people. And I\u2019m 56 years old. I\u2019m not a young kid anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n
