I will never forget those who stood by me and fought alongside us when I needed them the most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Trump heaped praise on Lahmeyer, branding him a \u201cMAGA warrior\u201d who will \u201cNEVER LET YOU DOWN!\u201d He repeated his endorsement on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, however, the race was rocked by scandal when the Daily Mail published Lahmeyer\u2019s texts to Caitlin Simmons Key, a 40-year-old former pageant queen who worked as a fundraiser for his campaign.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are super thin and very cute lol,\u201d he wrote in one of the texts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like texting you lol,\u201d he said in another.<\/p>\n<p>But Lahmeyer later came clean to his wife, Kendra, with whom he shares five children.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1670\">Trump Ripped for Total Surrender Peace Deal Debacle<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou are a home-wrecking wh&#8211;e. Did you enjoy ruining our family?\u201d Kendra told Key, using what appeared to be Lahmeyer\u2019s phone. \u201cHe has 5 kids. How dare you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lahmeyer addressed the controversy in a Facebook post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis matter was already dealt with privately between me and my wife, Kendra, through counsel and prayer with God and spiritual advisors. I own crossing a boundary line through text messaging. I also ended all communication,\u201d he said. \u201cThe British Tabloid tried to paint me out in a way which is not the case. At the same time, we must ask the question if this story was paid for and why our communications were carefully cherry-picked to create an impression that is not accurate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am beyond grateful to have Kendra\u2019s support,\u201d Lahmeyer went on. \u201cI am fully committed to my family, church and Oklahoma\u2019s 1st Congressional District. I have little doubt that those in the political establishment who oppose my America First Candidacy will attempt to make more of this than it is. My wife Kendra may have more to say on this subject in the coming days.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But it appeared that the scandal had already made an impression on Trump, who took back his endorsement of Lahmeyer on Wednesday, just minutes before the candidate dropped out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI greatly appreciate Jackson Lahmeyer\u2019s hard work under difficult circumstances,\u201d the president wrote in a Truth Social post. \u201cHe has always been with me, and I will always be with him.
