I\u2019ve been eyeing the Lopes fight and I think an upset wouldn\u2019t be too unrealistic. $$.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The exchange ends with an apparent reply from Cormier telling Trump, \u201cNo none of our fights rigged and honestly I am appalled you would even ask me something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The post, apparently written by Cormier, said, \u201cI\u2019m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light, however I refuse to stay silent. The UFC is a sport that I am deeply passionate about I will not tolerate this type of insider behavior. Shame on anyone trying to ruin this beautiful event.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though the post was reportedly quickly deleted, Trump shared another about the exchange by an MMA fan with under 1,500 followers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is completely fake! I have never reached out to Daniel. In fact, this is scary,\u201d Trump added. <\/p>\n<p>Trump posted several more times, claiming his team were \u201caware of the fake, AI generated screenshots\u201d which had been circulated online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have never spoken to Daniel. He has since deleted his post, which confirms it was clearly fabricated,\u201d Trump wrote, tagging in the UFC and the company\u2019s CEO Dana White.<\/p>\n<p>Trump shared another since-deleted post, adding the caption, \u201cThis did not happen. They were AI generated. Please be careful with reporting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Both Trump and Cormier have appeared to downplay the post. <\/p>\n<p>In a statement to the Wall Street Journal, Trump said, \u201cThat is absolutely not me. I didn\u2019t even know who the guy was\u2026 This is some kind of AI spoof. This is crazy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cormier posted on his X account, \u201cAre people really this dumb?,\u201d which was shared by Trump, who added, \u201cThanks Daniel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/nationwideinterstatemovers.com\/?p=1445\">UFC Star Shocks With Vile Michelle Obama Slur at White House UFC Event<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trump also shared a post by Kimberly Benza, the Director of Executive Operations and Communications at The Trump Organization, who said the screenshots are \u201cfake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey were fabricated and do not reflect reality. This is one of the dangers of AI-generated content: false information can spread quickly when people don\u2019t verify what they\u2019re seeing,\u201d Benza said.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Beast has contacted reps for Eric Trump, Cormier and the UFC for comment.<\/p>\n<p>The legitimacy of whether the post was fake or real has raised eyebrows, however. MMA reporter Adam Martin posted on X that he had personally seen the post on Cormier\u2019s page.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince I\u2019ve gotten a few DMs about this &#8212; yes, the DC tweet was 100% real, I saw it myself,\u201d Martin wrote. \u201cOthers saw it. People screen captured it. DC tweeted and deleted it quickly, but people screen grabbed it fast, too. Wonder why DC deleted it. Someone got into his ear quickly, I guess.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Martin followed by pointing out the DMs allegedly from Trump to Cormier were \u201ca bit weird.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do wonder if he got hacked and some hacker sent the DMs to DC. But DC\u2019s post 100% was legit. He pulled the classic Jon Jones `tweet and delete\u2019 move. Hopefully, he comments on this sometime tonight. DC didn\u2019t do anything wrong BTW.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Benza also commented on Martin\u2019s post suggesting Cormier was hacked, stating, \u201cEric does not have these DM\u2019s in his X. They were AI generated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also added, \u201cIt\u2019s actually insane that anyone would believe it was real\u2026.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>When another user asked Benza why Cormier would post the messages, she said, \u201cYou should ask him!
