This time, Nehls felt the need to imagine the circumstances of the president\u2019s birth nearly 80 years ago.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump is the best thing to happen in this country in a hundred years. He was born a very special baby. Jared Moskowitz, compared his flattery to the titular character in <i>Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby<\/i> saying grace to \u201ctiny Jesus, in your golden, fleece diapers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, former Republican Rep. Joe Walsh\u2014who became a Democrat last year\u2014also said his former party was now a \u201ccult.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nehls is the same lawmaker who said after Trump\u2019s reelection in 2024 that he and other House Republicans should \u201cembrace&#8230; every single word\u201d of his agenda. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf Donald Trump says, \u2018Jump three feet high and scratch your head,\u2019 we all jump three feet high and scratch our heads, and that\u2019s it,\u201d he said then.<\/p>\n<p>At the president\u2019s State of the Union address in February, Nehls shamelessly asked Trump to sign a tie with his face on it.
