At the Ellipse, as many as 10,000 Americans could come to watch the spectacle.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of spectators at the claw will need to undergo the same security screening that White House visitors must go through, insiders told NOTUS. Workers who enter the site undergo a background check and weapons inspection, and when they leave for the night, canine, explosive, and technical security teams sweep the site for any suspicious items.
